Price Accuracy Policy

spycart, a Canadian company · Last updated: 1 September 2026

Where our prices come from

Every price in spycart comes from a real source, never a simulation: retailer and marketplace listings pulled through our pricing data providers, the community-run Open Prices shelf-price database, and prices reported by shoppers inside spycart. Each result shows its merchant and whether it is an in-store or online offer.

How fresh a price is

To keep searches fast and cheap we cache results for up to 24 hours and show you when the data was captured. A price can move between that capture and your visit to the store, so treat every figure as the best recent estimate rather than a quote.

Why a shelf price differs

Regional pricing, store-level promotions, loyalty-card discounts, deposits, taxes and pack sizes all shift the number on the shelf. Online offers may exclude shipping and duties. We surface these differences where we can, but the retailer's own posted price at the moment of purchase always wins.

No guarantees, no affiliation

spycart does not sell or ship products and cannot promise availability or honour a price on a retailer's behalf. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any retailer we compare; their names and trademarks belong to them.

Report a wrong price

Tell us and we fix it: email Sales@gdcs.me with the product, the store and what you actually saw. Reported entries get dropped from the cache and re-checked against the source. Community-reported prices that keep failing verification are removed.
